This year is the 1500th anniversary of the birth of St Brigid and we were celebrating her feast day in school with song, prayer and story. James and Grace collected rushes and there were enough rushes to make St Brigid's crosses for all of the boys and girls in P4, 5, 6 and 7. Mrs Wattters, Mrs O'Hare and Katie helped the children and are now experts at making St. Brigid's crosses!
