We had lots of fun celebrating our love of reading on World Book Day.
The work began on Friday when the school was alive with chatte and excitement as we began to decorate our book scenes. We worked hard all week choosing, cutting and gluing and then when the art was completed we recorded readings and generated QR codes so we could share our work with the wider world.
On Friday morning we had a chance to view all the amazing creations. First the staff judging panel had the very difficult task of chosing their winners. Next came the children's judging panel- a very analytical team- to choose the children's choice for each class.
We finished the day with the best dressed competitions and a fun afternoon for all the boys and girls. Well done, everyone!
